Many of your favorite foods quickly lose their flavor and texture when they are stored at cold temperatures. The solution to this problem is surprisingly easy: just place one or more sponges on the lowest level of the refrigerator.\n
The sponges absorb the extra moisture inside the storage box. The result of this is that the moisture that was previously absorbed by the fruit and vegetables is now absorbed by the sponge. This way, your fruits and vegetables will stay fresh and crisp for much longer! The more moisture that is removed, the longer your fruits and vegetables will last. Just remember to change the sponges every now and then, depending on how moist they get. If you don\u2019t, it won\u2019t work either.\n
